I really want to get a Nexus 7, and have heard a lot of different opinions about activating it on Verizon and whether or not it will work. So here is my situation:

I currently have an iPad Mini with LTE capabilities, as one line on my family's plan. I was hoping I could just take the SIM card out of the iPad Mini and put it in the Nexus 7, and not have a problem. Will this work? Shouldn't the IMEI of the device automatically update to the Nexus 7's once the SIM card is placed in the tablet?

Also, once I do this, will the iPad Mini's IMEI no longer be associated with my account, and I would be free to sell it to someone else without having any problems?

    Any input is welcome!! :)

Not on CDMA. You have to swap the ESN for the coding to work.
