Nexus bootup screen on droid, nice

    Yeah, I have it on my phone too, I actually like the eye better though.

    +1 for liking the droids eye animation better. Nice to see options though...

    Haha, I have the Nexus One boot animation on my Droid, with 2.1 as well ;P

    @Fabo...........aww you didn't like the Android pissing on Apple? Haha, me either, Nexus animation is so much better although I wish it was a tad taller or had the hollow X like the one in the other video.

    Is that animation fluid, or does it corrilate with the loading progress?

    You mean the 2.1 that breaks your GPS and hardware keybd light??? :thinking:

    If so ... where's the brag in that?
     
  8. Is this done only with jailbreaking? If so I am still uneasy with jailbreaking my first computer/phone... But the thought does excite me.

    No doubt 2.1 has its bugs on the Droid, but my GPS is actually working in all my apps including Maps. It didn't when I first installed.

    GPS works perfectly and after pushing the modified android.os.PowerManager file the keyboard backlight works just fine.

    So......I'm not one to brag but nananana-nana.

    I've just been using the touch keyboard, but I'd like the backlight, heh.

    As it's been said, the GPS works fine. Don't be spreadin rumors about a ROM you've never tried!
