I've noticed the nexus one is limited to 7.2 mpbs over cellular downloads.. that is no problem for me really because, I honestly hope I never have to do THAT much downloading directly over 3g anyway..

However, I was wondering what the max wifi download capability is..

I know there is a theoretical hardware limit...

I guess the main concern would be if I have 16 mbps download speed through wifi.. will my n1 match the speed?

Wireless B/G comes with the nexus one. But the froyo update opens the WiFi up to wireless N which is the fastest on the market currently.

It's never going to get that high though. I'm sitting 10 feet away from my router on a 16Mb connection and my N1 pulls down 7.5Mb on Wi-Fi. And is there any confirmation that Froyo has N enabled? I don't have any N signals to test it on.
