Ok so I read the various threads and news articles, and from what I've gather up till now is that Vodafone announced that the Nexus One will be available with vodaphone in the UK in several weeks and after that France and Germany etc will follow.

I live in the Netherlands myself, and I'm not completely familiar with ordering phones from foreign countries, hence this question: If I were to buy a Nexus One from another country, 1. will it have to be unlocked so I can put in my own SIM-card? 2. Will the frequencies or w/e is used work here?

I can't really think of more questions so if anyone has anything to add about the compatibility of the N1 in my country ...feel free! :D

    1. Yes
    2. Yes

You will need to pay for taxes and customs when buying the phone though.

Hmkay, the downside is that it'll cost roughly twice as much money compared to buying it in your own country (costs = free phone + ~25 euros a month * 24 = 600 euros), importing it will add the phone costs to that.
