A few weeks ago my GPS stopped working, instead of finding my location it would always just say "Location Unavailable".. Can someone please tell me who I should call about this?

My GPS F'ed me the other day. It refused to lock on after flying into MCI and in my rental car. Ironically, My last trip here I was testing a DROID. Same thing happened. multiple reboots etc, never got a lock on.

Googles excuse = its a lab APP... still beta. WTF. after tooling around being lost, I pulled out my handheld garmin with the latest maps. I got an instant lock on, but the piece-o-crap could not find the addy. My iPad 3G saved the day and I ended up only 20 min late to my client.

Later that night when I Flew back, my N1 got instant lock on, even in the parking garage.

Thats not why I carry it, but it saved me and my the day. The 3g assisted GPS doesn't navigate you but it will give you directions and with a 9" screen, I had it easily sitting in the passenger seat to look at.

The $15/month I pay for 3g paid for the whole year that day. Even though it pains me to give ATT any money.

BTW... My old iphone was in my bag too. Just in case my N1 dies. :p

my gps wasn't working when i first got the phone, but it was b/c i had initially turned off some location service or something...

once i turned that back on it found me no problem and all the applications that use it worked again as well.

just to weed out the stupid... you do have your gps icon clicked to on correct?

Yeah haha, when i have both the wireless networks and GPS enabled it gives me a very broad location, but when I turn off the wireless networks and just leave GPS on it says something like, "Your location can not be determined".
