nfinitefx45 and flipz should really team up and make a baby.

What would that do for the Hero huh? I decided to stick with flipz 2.3.3 and inject it with nfinitefx45 kernel, including his custom battery icon with percentage which i loved. Lets see how this runs for now.

Yeah, I'm on the new Zenhero and am loving it, it still has a few bugs but I'm sure they'll be worked out. I also have the rotary battery icon with percentage and the stock Rosie, loving it so far.

I'm curious to see what his battery icon looks like... I just got done making one for JB in AZ and myself the other day.

Here is the one Kelmar made.. Even tho it is still a "work in progress" I like it alot! Thanks Kelmar! Actually, the screen shot doesn't show this, but now the battery icon "empties" from the other side...counter clockwise..more intuitive to me this way.

    No problem JB.

I've got versions that go both ways... but as said, it is still getting "tweaked" to my liking.

While we're all on the same page, which do y'all prefer, Fresh 2.3.3 or either of Nfinite's roms, all overclocked?

This version of fresh is the only one I haven't had problems with. Only tried one of nfinite's roms and wasn't impressed.

I know JB gave it more of a chance then I did though.

I don't remember any big issues (nfinite's dodexed rom), except that my BofA app wouldn't remember my device each time on nfinite's rom (causing me to have to answer the security questions every time). I hadn't tried using a custom kernel and OC Widget on it, so the speed wasn't part of my evaluations.

I'm currently using fresh 2.3.3, and have been using this rom longer than any other rom since I rooted. I was a big fan of ZenEXP, but it had a lot of things that needed to be done to it to make it "right", and it still fell somewhat short in my mind. So I guess that says something about Fresh.

Hey guys, believe it or not I'm still on Fresh 1.1 with less aggressive Gumbo kernel! All I want is battery life, speed, stability, and I haven't found a suitable 2.X replacement. I don't use any of the HTC widgets so I don't care about looks and add-ons.

It will take me weeks to scour XDA and read through all the threads, would someone be kind enough to recommend a Rom that has similar attributes?

Best battery life I've gotten from ANY rom (including the stock 1.5 and 2.1) is fresh 2.3.3.

valdesr11 - where can I get the kernel you mentioned? can i just flash it over fresh?

I just flashed Fresh 2.3.3 and it's great so far. A little laggy compared to the 1.1 Rom + Gumbo but hoping to get tweak it some more.

[KERNEL][7/22/10]Darchstar's Overclocked Undervolted kernel for senseUI roms vUV 2 - xda-developers

These are the new OC/UV kernels for Sense UI roms. I'm using the vUV2 710 mhz kernel that is compatible with Fresh and Nfinite's roms, just make sure to flash that remover zip first then the kernel without a reboot between them.

nfinitefx45 now also has a "road sms" which is a keyboard that works with your camera so you see whats in front of you while texting/typing. Pretty cool, should check it out. Same link as posted above. It will be in the first post to the ROM topic.

I made a creation out of parts of both. Flashed Fresh 2.3.3 clean out some of the apps didn't want, then was looking around over on XDA and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=752553&highlight=modify+phone.apk
follow post#13 instructions and Watch it now you have Fresh 2.3.3 themed like ZenHero Fx Lite (thanks to Nieylana for the .zip file and the work),then if want you can flash JsChiSurf"s Htc Dialer without Haptic Feedback [MOD] Htc Dialer WITHOUT Haptic Feedback - Updated 5/26 - xda-developers
No Vibrate on connect and no dialing vibrate(I know some like it, idon't care for it,but to each his/her own) Just thought I would throw this out there if some are interested :D
