I just ordered my Dallas Cowboys skin from the official Verizon site yesterday

    VSkins - Verizon Wireless

Right now they are selling the Droid X NFL skins for $9.99 with free shipping as opposed to the regular $14.99 and no free shipping.

    Anyone else ordered theirs yet?

Lets post some pics of the X with the skins on once we start picking them up next week, or sooner if you are lucky enough to get your X early!

I was just wondering, has anyone used skins from skinit on a phone before? I have 2 questions:

    1. Do they stay on well or do corners start coming up after a couple weeks?

    2. When you want to take them off do they leave a residue or are they really difficult to remove? I ask because in a year or so I am going to want the next great Moto Droid and will sell my X.

Either way, its still going on my phone, I just may not use the front skin.

Yeah, VY is a year more mature, and having an entire off season as the #1 should help too. But back on topic. I would like to know how these skins hold up over time. I handle my phone constantly, so the edges fraying would be my major concern.

I love the Cowboys as well!! And how did you get that weather and agenda info to show up on your lock screen? I like that a lot.

It is an app called WidgetLocker that replaces your lock screen. It is $0.99, and it is sooo worth it. Add any widget to your lock screen and there are a few different sliders available, plus the option to turn your phone to vibrate instead of silent when you slide to the left.

Works flawlessly with my Droid X and the developer is very responsive if you need to contact him. I used it on my Droid for a couple weeks before the X was released and I love it!

The calendar is CalWidget (free) and the weather is weather bug elite ($1.99).
