Nice! X2 for $149 ($50 discount).

I just placed my order through Amazon for the phone. Just a heads up though, the estimated delivery time for the phone isn't until July 6 for me. I don't know if really won't come until then, or if the system is screwy, but I thought everyone should know.

Personally, I'm fine with waiting over a month for it if it means saving $50. But to each his own.

That sucks... almost not worth the $50 rebate, considering that it's a rebate in the first place, and not just a $50 discount.
 
You can buy at Best Buy as well, FYI...however, don't think you can get upgrade discounts...must pay $199...can't figure out why.


*you can only get full contract upgrades, no annual at Best Buy...but bottom line is for person looking to upgrade full, the DX2 is available for sale at some Best Buys (not all apparently)
 
I emailed AmazonWireless to see what was up with them getting the DX2 in. The response I got back (rather quickly I might add) was, in a nutshell, "We don't really know when we'll get the phone in, but we hope it'll be in a week or two."

So I'll get it as soon as ~9 days from now, and as late as who knows.
 
Verizonwireless.com gave it to my dad for $149.99 plus tax. He has a corp. discount though.

Amazon is sold out already. When i signed into my verizon account, it changed from $199 to $149. So i got it too for 149.
 
CostCo has them in stock for $149 (instant rebate at register)...wife got one a couple hours ago...

14 day return, no restocking fee.

90 day exchange for any other VZW phone at Costco, no restocking fee.

Tax on $149, not taxed full "retail" value (usually set at over $500) - out the door for around $170 w/tax.

Free wall charger, car charger, and rotating holster (which my wife, strangely enough, loves)

Typical Costco top-quality service/support. Great experience...don't think I'll be getting too many phones at VZW in the future, if they have what I want at Costco.

The wireless store at costco isn't actually operated by costco. Also, my local costco didn't have it in stock and thought it would be at least a week before they would. So I just ordered from VZW for 155 with my corporate discount. (I had to use my dads upgrade as I'm not up until july and that required me calling costco to do, so the $5 more I had to pay verizon for the phone was worth not having to sit on hold with them to get it for $5 less)

I agree about the $5, however I like the 90 day swap option! plus my local costco told me they throw in an accessory package!

I was reading elsewhere on this forum that it is 90 day swap with the same model, not anything that they carry.

So, be careful if that is why you got it from them =)

Just called two Costco's in my area and both confirmed, the 90 day swap is for any other Verizon phone...if it is more $$ then you just pay the difference.

Funny I went to 2 different Costco's and they both told me 14 day swap to any phone, 90 days for same model only.
