Nike + Fuel Band

I tried performing a search, and I couldn't find what I needed so here's a new thread...

Does anyone know whether Nike has given us Android users an app for their Fuel Band? I know those spoiled hamsters with iThingies got theirs right away, but I'm wondering if I should just sell mine or if maybe they'll care about the 99%.

can you sync with your computer?

i should have copped a doernbecher fuel band, but when i found out it was ios only, i passed.

with the number of android devices far outnumbering the idevices, it surprises me that companies continue to push ios first.

Hello,

I contacted the Nike support about 2 weeks ago regarding the promised Android app for the fuelband.
Their answer was that they do NOT know when it will be launched.
In other words: everyone who bought the fuelband to use it with Android needs to wait - or change to another OS or change the fuelband for another tracking device.

Unbelievable, how Nike ignores the Android community.
Maybe we should all send in our complaints...

All the best for 2013 to everyone!

I have been waiting for the Fuelband Android app since I got my Fuelband in March. Lets just face it...that app is vaporware.

I imagine Nike extracted some large concessions from Apple to make that decision. Because from a peek at the market share numbers, it's an incredibly bad business decision without something else going on under the table.

Hi, all. My son asked me to buy him a Nike Fuel Band. Afte doing about two minutes of research and finding out that there is NO app to accommodate our droid phones, I will find an alternate band for my son. And boycott their overpriced shoes, too.

I hear many people go for FitBit as alternate to Fuel, and it comes with both OS support.
