Is there a ROM for rooted devices that gives the Droid 1 users "Ninja" Blur like the Droid X has?

I haven't actually handled an X yet, but most people seem to bitch about Blur.

is there something cool about it?

    Not yet.

It is an interface that allows for nonstop synchronization of all your social media, but it is a resource hog like HTC's SenseUI, IMO.

I haven' actually used it but I still don't want it b/c I like interfacing with social media when I want to, not all the time.

I think it's just too difficult or even impossible to port over those skins. I recall the devs trying to port the Sense UI from the Desire (and later the Incredible) over to the Droid. It got a sort of alpha release but there were many functions not working. Even with the system dump from the X out there (giving us their keyboard for example), I think porting an entire framework just isn't going to happen.
