Hi!

I live in Stockholm, Sweden having moved there from Australia nearly 20 years ago.

Since march I've starting developing for Android for fun and have so far written a game and an app.

Currently I own a HTC Desire HD running the LeeDroid rom and Sense 3.0.

I am really happy with the phone and rom, so Im wondering when another phone will be released which will make me want to upgrade.

The main thing I would like improved is the battery life. Im quite happy with the speed and the display.

During the day I work as a .net and sharepoint developer.

Cheers

ninjalizard, welcome to the AndroidForums!

Wow, you've been busy since March! :)

I started developing in Android last July...it certainly is a rewarding "hobby", LOL, and certainly keeps one busy.

I checked out the apps you posted--very nice and very professional looking. Good job!

Also, I was more impressed by your posting in this thread http://androidforums.com/developer-101/408206-get-apps-permissions.html#post3162871 to help a fellow, aspiring developer out. You are exactly the kind of member AndroidForums has and always needs more of. Thank you for that.

Anyway, welcome again and glad you signed-up here at AF with us.

Cheers!

Scary - thanks for your kind words, yeah I've been pretty busy in the evenings and weekends, its so much fun developing. Actually I crashed my bike in the beginning of June so I've had a little extra time ;)

ninjalizard,

Ouch! I hope you are on the mend and will have a full recovery (its no fun being sick or injured).

I'm still learning app development myself--there's just so much stuff to learn, so I don't think I'll ever be done ;).

Its great that folks like yourself have joined our little corner of the Android world and we are very happy to have you with us.

We take great pains here to try to make this a friendly and inviting place to hang-out and share.

If you have any good tips or have any ideas, be sure to add something to this thread:

Another developer and Guide here, alostpacket, started this and we're always looking for helpful contributions.

Cheers and have a great rest of your Monday! :)
