No 4G LTE network option in Samsung S4 I9506

Hi guys,
I'm new in this group...

I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S4-I9506 android 4.3/Jelly Bean, the 4G LTE option doesn't appear on Network mode while my card and my area already support 4G LTE network.
When I checked at http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9506_galaxy_s4-5542.php, it tell me that my phone support 4G LTE network.

Is there any way to fix my phone ? or to make my phone have a 4G LTE network ?

I tried the link as you given to me but this what I got, no 4G LTE option in network mode in my S4 phone.
Is there any other way to fix it ?

Are you thinking updating firmware? Found a few solutions that suggested it.

I'm in indonesia and it should be supported lte 4g

Since Indonesia is not listed in Sammobile firmware, I am thinking that you can upgrade to one of the generic (unknown) 5.0.1 firmware. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong. With new firmware you should have LTE option.

The Galaxy S4, i9506, is not compatible with a number of Indonesian networks I am afraid. Without knowing your carrier, as per my post #4 above, I cannot comment further.

Also, what are your exact firmware details, as per #1.3 of 29 Galaxy S4 models - know yours?

There might be but as Ironass stated we need to know the Carrier to check if the phones LTE bands are compatible with what your Carrier is using.

Hi guys...
My galaxy S4-I9506 now can be using 4G/LTE by dialing *#2263#, after dialing will be appear menu "Service Mode" like below :
[1]Automatic
[2]WCDMA Band Preference
[3] GSM Band Preference
[4] LTE Band Preference
[5] WCDMA/GSM Mode Only
[6] LTE/WCDMA Mode Only
[7] LTE/GSM Mode Only

then I choose [4] LTE Band Preference. Without updating firmware, etc.
But my question now is why still no option LTE in network mode ? Does it work properly ?

At work now and don't have access to a Samsung phone to check what setting should be. I would think that 7 should be selected.

Checked a S3, 4 and 5. All had [1] Automatic selected.
