Been in the market for a new aftermarket NAV/DVD player. Stumbled accross the new Clarions. I ended up getting the Clarion NX602. I researched it as best I could, but it literally just came out a few weeks ago, so there was limited info. I was excited to see there was a built in pandora interface. However, I didn't read it carefully to notice that it only supports iPhones. Quite a big disappointment as this was an important feature to me. Sure, I can still listen through the BlueTooth Audio, but I don't get the cool interface. Did some more research and it seems like a lot of these systems from other brands are the same way. Pandora works with iPhone. I just don't understand why it would work with iPhone when the smartphone app is identical.

/sigh. When will the world get over the iPhone craze?

Anybody know of any app or emulator to make it seem like my phone is actually an iPhone that might solve the problem?

Yep, came across the same issue. I installed a system that utilizes my stock bose dvd/nav interface on my Chevy Avalanche but Pandora will only interface with my iPhone. I had to add a second aux line in order to get my Skyrocket to at least play through my sound system, but no way to control Pandora through my steering wheel controls.

IPhone is loved by manufacturers, because the interface hasn't really changed in over a decade, hence the iPod (and by halo effect, iPhone) has become the standard. Just the way it is and I doubt it will change.
