I'm new here, so please bear with me. After having iPhones for ever, I purchased a Samsung GS3 back in Sept. Phone has been nothing short of spectacular, the more I use the Android the more I like it. I have a Verizon GS3 running 4.0.4 The phone has never been rooted etc.. A few days ago my Aol stopped letting me sign in from the email app that's on the phone. I can still access it through the internet on the phone and through a PC. I have tried restarting, powering off the phone. I have also tried to remove the email account and that isn't working either..wtf Any idea? Thanks for your help.
Hello there sammy! Althought I do not have that device, I can take a shot at this Can you go to the "manage apps" screen and find AOL, then clear the cache and data from it? Then try to sign into it again? Try that, otherwise others in the GS3 forum can help and I or some other staff can move this thread into that forum for ya
I don't know what the hell I did..lol After your suggestion, I was able to remove it(my aol account) Then it kept timing out when trying to add it back in under the aol menu in email. After several restarts I was able to add my Aol account under "other" in the email menu. It's working for now. I will say this, it seems like the email is never really in sync with itself. I can do things on my email thru the PC and it doesn't make those changes on the phone's email. This sound right? Thanks again.
