    Hi
Really looking for help. Everytime I click youtube I get 'check network connection' When it's Google I get 'unknown issue with Google play' and if Google search its 'security warning'. Facebook is 'sign in error' Oh and google play is just a white screen.

Kodi still works but no apps. I'm connected ethernet too. Worked fine yesterday. I'm a total novice at this by the way. All help warmly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Martin.

    Welcome to AF! :)

First step: power the phone off and then back on. I know it sounds daft but it's amazing how many connectivity issues are solved by this.

Next step: disable wifi and see if everything works over 3/4G. If so then it's likely a routing issue with your internet provider. Try restarting your router... again, simply reconnecting afresh often clears things up.

If the above don't help, post back.

    Hi.
Switched phone off / on a few times but nothing. Tried disconnecting ethernet and nothing. Tried on wifi only nothing. Switched router off / on and nothing, yet kodi works. Just all the M8 apps as thread above. Youtube says ' please check your network connection- retry'.
    At a loss.
Cheers for the quick reply by the way.

1970 eh? The default Linux start date. That suggests that the battery has been completely run down to the point where the phone has lost the date. It's not good for the battery to run it so low, so I suggest you don't make a habit of that. ;)

That's the date as it came out the box lol. Had it a few weeks now and just wondered if date may be the root of issue. Looks like it was.
Much appreciated support tho. Hope to learn from he forum.

    Cheers all.
