Howdy. I just got the brand new Droid 2 Global, trading up (WAY up) from a BlackBerry Tour. The audio settings for my earbuds show "audio effects" that can be enabled, but the only one that works is "effects profile", which is a "sound stage" stereo separation thing. The other two are Surround and Equalizer, but they are grayed out and don't work. The Equalizer is stuck on the Extreme Bass setting. What gives? Why isn't there an actual EQ function on this thing?

    Thanks for any help...

Settings - Sound- Media audio effects - Wired stereo devices - Check "Enable Audio Effects". Effects profile set to custom. Equalizer will let you set to whatever you want.

It seems that there is a way to do just about everything on the Droid 2 - sometimes takes some digging around to figure out what it is...
