With all the bad things being said i thought i would start a post about good things!

I got the Evo on launch day, and i wouldn't want to go back to my old phone ( Samsung instinct ). This thing is ridiculous!! the screen is amazing, the size of the screen is jaw dropping. All the apps are all cool but the ability to multi-task brings a whole new level to using a phone. I also have an iPod touch, THAT THING LOOKS PUNY IN COMPARISON. Maybe im just being spoiled because i am coming from such a dated phone but all the things people complain about, WE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TWO YEARS AGO, so be happy for innovation.

Ps. -- The battery life will improve once the battery is broken in and it realizes it full potential, so dont fret.

i agree with the battery mine drops from 100-85 within 30 mintutes of not doing anything really, but after that it seems more reasonable, i HOPE this will fix itself when the battery is broken in...

    good thread all together :)

Man... I would get this phone today due to the great screen size and features but HTC made things hard by putting Sense on the phone instead of stock android :(

I have to wait until someone comes up with a hack to make the wiimote controller work so that I can play my emulators (I can do this on my Nexus One right now)

You can disable sense on the evo, its actually pretty easy to do, I kept sense because launcher only gives five screens and sense gives seven to swipe through.
