Help No download mode

hello friends,

hope some you might be able to solve my problem, on my samsung galaxy mini there's no download mode, i have tried the following ways,

1 : ( Vol down + home key + power key )
2: ( Vol down + return Key Bottam right + power key )

but none of them worked, my phone doesn't get to the download mode, what should i do, i want to upgrade my phone to gingerbread!

please help me!
