My gmail account has stopped sending me notices when I get new mail.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is there anything I should check? A setting on my phone or on my Gmail page?

Open gmail. Click the hard menu button>more>settings>scroll down to email notifications and make sure it is on.

I opened my GMail page (on the computer) and I don't see a MENU button anywhere.

    What am I missing?

lol, you need to open the app on your phone. (if you aren't getting notifications on your pc, that is a different story.) The way I was explaining to fix the notifications is on your phone. Menu is the little button on the bottom of the phone that says menu. Then click on the more button, then settings, then scroll down to notifications and make sure it is checked...

i'm having a similar problem on my hero - it just doesn't sync anymore. i can go in every little bit (to the app) and hit refresh and then it syncs and shows me all the new messages. same is true for the reverse - i can read all my mail on the computer and my phone won't show it read until i refresh again. this was just all of a sudden last week. mysteriously on friday tho, it was on point!!!

o yes, and the notifications box is checked - all settings are correct for it sync-ing no problem

Go into settings/applications/Gmail and clear the data. That did it for me. :)

I'm suffering the same problem, but it just started last night or today. I upgraded to AOSP/CM7 GB a couple days ago but the syncing worked at first. Now, not so much. I can have it sync manually, but it won't do it automatically, even after clearing the data. Frustrating!

Pandora's not working well either. I really like this ROM, but if it's causing these problems, I'm not sure I can live with it. I've got the 3/8 version, though, so maybe a newer one will work better.
