Help No Internet Access But Texting Works

Hello,
I'm running cyanogenmod 7.2.0. Everything works.
But when I've flashed other ROMs (latest cleardroid and MIUI for Inspire) - my phone has working mms and phone service (tested), but neither ROM could access the internet (browser and twitter, etc). "Service Unavailable" was the error in the browser.
Any thoughts?

APN, I'd guess.

Phone and /sms/ will work without data. The bit about MMS is less clear. I don't think MMS runs along the normal SMS pathway, so based on your thread title and description of what works I'll assume you mean SMS rather than MMS proper. Pls correct if I am mistaken.

You are correct. And once APN was set correctly, I was able to use the internet.
