At first I thought the phone had no LED, but then I remembered it blinking white when there were notifications.

So I thought it was broken.

I downloaded a reminder app to play a sound, which had an LED test feature, and nothing happened.

Moved on to a different app, Light Flow, which I think is the most poplar one of this sort right now. Still nothing. Now I'm sure it's busted.

Then the phone rings and I see the LED is working fine (in white).

I must have some software problem.

    Any thoughts?

Go into settings (Display)...make sure there's a check near Pulse Notification. If there is, uncheck it, check it again, and them do a battery pull. Once the phone is back on...Text your self, and put the phone to sleep before the message goes through..You usually have about 10 seconds to shut the phone before the message goes through. If that doesn't work, I'd opt for a hard reset as a last resort. And if that doesn't work, an exchange for a new unit is in order.

Light Flow works perfectly for me. There ARE allot of options, so it may take awhile to fine tune it to your liking.

more than likely it is what sean suggested. A week ago i stopped getting led notifications all of a sudden...i dang near started panicking wondering what had happened....found the pulse checkbox...somehow it had gotten unchecked. As soon as i checked it things worked perfectly.

If I understood correctly in the app description, Light Flow takes over ALL LED notifications? Which I took it as you would have to set up every single notification? I hope you can change the interval of the LED...way too long of a delay on stock in my opinion...

Yes, LightFlow takes over the control of the notification LED. You can configure just about every event. It actually controls more than just the LED - you can configure vibrate, or sound, for any of the notification as well. It's got an easy interface so it's quick to zip through and configure all of the notifications.

Also, yes, you can change the interval. The stock interval in LightFlow is just about perfect, IMO.

Will it take over all notifications, meaning I'll have to go back and set sound for everything as well? I'm at work right now, so the phone is on silent...

Light flow also has to be checked in the accessibility portion of your settings.
