No MM Doze on Boost version, but...

It appears the MM "Doze" feature was excluded from the Boost version of Marshmallow. However, I found this app via the "Drippler" app that does the same thing and you don't have to be rooted. Actually, it doesn't wait 30 minutes like the real Doze does to do it's thing.

How is it that the "Doze" feature is excluded? I think it is baked in and only works when the phone is in sleep. Anyway the "Drippler" app seems effective. I wonder how you came to conclusion about "doze" not being there, Thanks

If you Google how Doze works, you will see that there are options to selectively exclude apps from being "Optimized" by Doze. The menu choices to do the process simply are not on the Boost Mobile version of the phone. You will not find a "Battery optimization" menu. I cannot image them putting Doze in effect and leave out the important feature to turn it off on certain apps.
