No mobile network menu

I have the IDEOS S7 Slim, android v 2.2.2 kernel 2.6.32.9-Ideos and I want to try the 3G but I don't have the menu available under "wireless and networks"

I've installed a SIM etc

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have googled it and have come up with nothing !

Help!!
