Tips No notification light, give this app a try. NoLed.

    Now for those that don't have a notification light, there's an app called NoLed and you guys should give it a try. For what it's worth, free, it's really good. I think that sometimes it's even better than the light, so go ahead to the play store and check it out and let me know if it worked for you.

    Whack me in the head with a board enough and even I finally get it... :D

    There was no way to kill the Update reminder from hell without rooting or taking the damn update so after a couple hours of researching it and a couple weeks of putting up with it I drank the Flavor (update) Ade. [1]

    I knew about NoLED a couple weeks ago when I first started noodling the no notilight issue. It's taken those couple weeks to figure out there doesn't appear to be another alternative than it. :rolleyes:

    So I have it installed now and it seems to work. It sure is a down and dirty way to accomplish the purpose but accomplish it it does.

    [1] If you're going to use a Jonestown reference, at least cite the right drink...
