My Optimus M is running CM7.1 and I can't get multimedia messaging to work. I can send and receive texts just fine (although often, it tells me that the message cannot be sent, but the other party receives it anyway).

No idea where to start looking into this, so any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks :)

Hmm... no such luck in opening a MMS that was sent to me the other day. Perhaps the ones that were sent before the patch are inaccessible?

    Thoughts?

After flashing the mms. Go to data/data/com.android.providers.telephony and delete a file called telephony.db then restart. Thats one though.

I don't have that. Only things in my data folder are Beautiful Widgets, Screenshot It Free, and Titanium Backup....

Go to the market and download an app called script manager. Then explore thoes files, and add/delete needed files. Try that.

    Stingroo try this method: http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-...-rom-wip-cm7-2-0-rc0-bobz-12.html#post3741727

Flash the MetrOFF zip in recovery.
    Reboot
Go to Voice Dialer and search for APN (should be labeled Open APN list)
Select the metropcs apn and change the password to 'mymetro' without quotes. Be sure to click Menu SAVE and not just backspace out of the screen or it won't save the changes.

    This worked for me.
