no service error Please help!

I changed my battery while it was on the charger and it never came back on. The screen turns on but the phone force closes after an error message that reads ' SORRY! The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.' FORCE CLOSE. The music app says the same thing and no cellular based stuff turns on, I swapped the battery out to the original and that didnt help, I turned it on and off through software and that didn't help. I called local sprint guru and he never heard of it. I called sprint tech support and they never heard of it. I now have to swap the phone, which I don't want to do. Is there a fix??

ok, I figured it out, it needed to be reset, sucks but it works now
