Root No Signal on AOKP

When I boot an AOKP ROM I get no signal. I read that you had boot into Sense ROM (not the Stock ROM an Nandroid) and update PRL/Profile from there. That is what I did,

I am still not getting any signal. I am on Ting, an MVNO of Sprint. I usually get two bars at most.

I have firmware 1.12.11.1210 if thats correct.

Well flashing roms in general should not have an effect on radio signal. It might have an effect on how you see or perceive what the signal strength actually is.

But being on another network I have no idea.......I could be wrong as other networks and flashing roms can do weird things.

Some of the rom devs have claimed to trace that to requiring the latest firmware for everything, not just the radios.

Yeah, I am on S-off. i switched ROMs getting very little signal, but i think thats the par for the course here in my tiny dot of a town.

i updated Profile and PRL.. it seemed to work.
