Root No Signature?

Sometimes when i am in Recovery mode and i try to flash something onto one of my ROMs it will say something like "E:No Signature (14 files)" or something like that.

Is there anyway to fix this? should i un-root and then root again?

its because whatever you are trying to flash hasnt been signed. google requires a "signature" on all apps to make sure it can trace anything made maliciously. if you want i can walk you though it, otherwise you can just send me the file, ill sign it and email it back
