Is there anyway to turn off the slide to unlock so i just simply hit the power button at the top and it awakes straight to the home screen without having to unlock?

FYI No Lock and Lockbot and others are just apps which disable the system lock utility. So you are depending on a non-system app to provide this. In MY testing, LockBot would periodically hang/crash and it looked like it was failing to provide this protection. Not sure about No Lock but please TEST THIS THOROUGHLY before you DEPEND on it (e.g. to protect against pocket dialing!)

I have been using no lock, and have not had any problems with it. Its the ideal solution for me since I am using a holster and am not worried about pocket dialing.

+1 for No Lock. It also lets you turn on the screen with the volume buttons.
