General No support for MSC mode on Galaxy S3?

    Is it true that the SGS3 does not support the MSC (mass storage mode)?

    If so why? Did maybe Samsung enhance MTP mode (very slow on my SGS2) performance?

    I don't think UMS (USB Mass Storage) mode is part of any android device above ICS is it?

    Works fine with MTP on windows for file transfer but Linux, nope.

    you can get UMS mode but u need to be rooted for it. There is app developed by the good people over at Xda. For the life of me i cant understand the s3 and windows they do not get along in MTP mode my pc just wont recognize my s3.

    Did someone try large syncs in MTP mode? Should be very slow....
