Root No trash icon in Gingerbread

Hi,

I rooted HTC Tattoo with CM 7. Now I am unable to delete icons on Home screen. I tried tapping icon for 2 to 3 seconds and the phone vibrates. But the trash icon never appears. Neither the icon appears at the top nor at bottom. Please let me know if anyone knows solution.
