Help No vibration

Hi,
This morning, my phone stopped vibrating for sms notifications.
I hadn't changed anything to cause this to happen, but I tried looking in every setting I can think of.
The weird thing is that when I change the volume with the buttons on the side, my phone vibrates, and a notification widgets says I'm in vibrate, but the little symbol at the top still shows silent mode!
Any idea what could be going on?

Mine does this too and this also happened with my Evo 3D - dont know why honestly - sometimes it vibrates sometimes it doesnt maybe has to do with being in the pocket or something -

This is one of those software muck-ups that sometimes happen.

You need to unfortunately try the obvious first, put the phone on normal, and then restart the phone.

Should that fail, a factory reset maybe? Or maybe a OS upgrade. Basically there's a bug in the software and your looking to restart the software completely so it picks up that it's meant to be on normal and not silent mode.
