I got the Incredible and my Video Camera wont use flash, its always greyed out.

Ny weather wont automatically receive the updates. When I tell it to and click update automatically and update once a day it continually turns off once I exit out.

    Any ideas?

Do you mean Camera? Why would you use flash for shooting video?

A lot of people are having update issues with the HTC weather. I suggest trying other settings like 4 or 2 hours to test it out. If it still doesn't work you can download other weather apps that are more reliable.

My guess would be so that he can record video in low light.

2.2 supports using the flash for video recording.

If that's the case, no you won't be able to use the flash in video. The flash on the incredible works like any camera. It flashes to take the picture then goes off. It's not like old phones where the flash is light that turns on and off.

Aren't there flashlight apps that use the flash? Honest question because I was dumb enough to wait until the 10th to order and I don't have mine yet.

I think this is more of a function to save battery life. The dual LEDs would consume a considerable amount of power, not to mention that having the camera app open itself and running/recording isn't a hog itself. You'd kill the battery pretty fast
