Nokia 3.1c can no longer view videos after

A few weeks ago, I received a typical 'cricket' update for my Nokia 3.1c phone. After obliging to this non negotiable update, I found that my device could no longer play videos, display notifications, or play most audio through the speakers. In more recent times, notifications show and their respective sounds show about half of the time- and I have found that, while having Bluetooth earbuds connected to my phone, I am able to watch videos and hear audio perfectly fine. However, without the assistance of the earbuds, videos remain frozen upon being loaded. I don't know what this cricket update has done, but it's made this phone a lot less useful. Anyone know what's wrong?
