    Hi all,

I am looking at getting some new headphones that also have the hands free part (mic and play / pause button). I hate the ones that come as standard, they just never stay in my ears, much prefer headphones that wrap around my head.

I was looking around and saw the "Nokia WH-600". I was wondering if anyone has t tried them, know of any others that work or any general advice on it.

    Thanks

Afaik they should work since both Nokia and Samsung use the 3rd pin for the mic and the 4th for the ground.

    Can't you test them first?

Just remember the ones with ONE button on them will work. The ones with more than 1 (like the n95 ones i think?) won't.

    Thanks Guys,

I will try and get to test them. I was trying to gauge how others felt about the situation.

    Thanks again :)

Isn't that dependant on how the handset signals to the phone the commands? Doesn't matter if it's 1 or 2 buttons. So long as the number of connections are the same, it's worth a try.

Of course it does! Thats obvious :p

Both have 3 pins, but the single button ones short ground and mic as the galaxy does. The ones with more than 1 button have a microcontroller in them which sends differencial signals on the MIC line.
