I am moving to the UK at the end of the year and I needed a non-contract phone to use before I left, so I chose the Samsung GalaxyPrevail from Boost Mobile. I'm wondering, once I move, will I still be able to use the WiFi and apps even if I disconnect the phone?

Yes. You will! Well, you can on my phone. So if you're moving to the UK, get your phone unblocked and get a new sim in there.

Not sure I understand the question, but going to try and answer anyway.

The wifi will work in the UK, either the free connections - McDonalds etc, or the paid for access as long as you sign up.

Any apps you have on the phone that have been downloaded from the market are linked to your Google log on account, so as long as that remains the same you should be OK.
Any apps that came with the phone should also still work.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Welcome to the UK by the way.
