Noob entering the room

Hello Everyone,
I just received a new company phone and it is an HTC Hero. So far I'm pretty pleased with it. I thought I get online and see what apps can be downloaded for it and found this site. The site looks pretty awesome, tons of apps, but I didn't see any way of downloading them in my search.

There aren't any files actually hosted here...this is an informational forum but you will find that people link to files and/or give you the app's name as found in the market. This is really a community of people that share their experiences and expertise. It's the best forum I have found for the Android OS!
