    Hello all,

I am having difficulty unrooting my Evo...I rooted for wi-fi tether.

    I already have S-ON.
I have PC36IMG.zip on my microsd card.
For some reason when I go into the bootloader (power&volume DOWN) it will not recognize PC36IMG.zip...a quick message pops up saying "no image"

    What am I doing wrong?

PS: I am using ClockworkMOD 2.5

    Please help.

You need to make sure the file is named exactly PC36IMG.zip . If you are using windows, do not add .zip to the end as it is already there just windows hides extensions.

Why are you trying to unroot?

I finally got it working , but I used RUU.exe and did via laptop

I am unrooting because I just want a stock phone. I also want Gingerbread and just want a normal phone.

Ok. Was just curious. There have been alot lately that though they had to unroot to get the update and that isn't true at all. Glad you got it taken care of.
