Root Noob Q - Need to keep USB debugging enabled for recovery?

Just read the thread from eniac1 about recovery problems. Am rooted (not S-OFF'd don't think i need it) and just installed custom ROM (LeeDrOiD's latest Froyo), and had disabled it once complete but enabled it again when warning that Titanium throws up appeared before restoring missing apps + data option.

My question - does this need to be enabled to do a nandroid recovery if i ever need to? If so will just leave it on.

Have to say I can see trying other ROMs is going to get addictive - my big issue now is going to be knowing when to stop!!:)

USB debugging is in android so if android is not running, none of its functions are running.

So no, in recovery, it makes no difference is enabled or not as android is not running.

Just leave debugging on though. No need to turn it off.
