Root Nook Wont Play Certain YouTube Videos

OK, I'm running a fairly recent nightly. Things going pretty well, except I can't play certain YouTube videos.

One for example is Honey Badger. I didn't choose it - a friend of mine did after I rooted his NC. Then I go to see if the same behavior exists on my NC, and sure enough, it won't play.

Is this a buildprop issue or other?

Is your build.prop stock?

No, modified to run Netflix. However, I reverted to an older YT .APK file I found on XDA Developer Forums. That worked.
