Has anybody else tried using the Nordic flasher tool? I keep getting: Wipe Userdata? (y/n): n please connect Xperia in flash mode. Press any key to continue . . . 31-Oct-2010 16:19:10 X10flash main INFO: start Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException at java.lang.String.<init>(Unknown Source) at X10flash.testPluged(X10flash.java:103) at X10flash.run(X10flash.java:375) at X10flash.main(X10flash.java:417) Press any key to continue . . . I've tried everything, from manually entering the device ID and removing the 3 lines in "X10 Flash" batch file, to uninstalling and reinstalling 32 bit flash to replacing the DevID with the 64 bit version. Anybody figured this thing out? Any help at all would be appreciated. I'm on Rogers Wireless, x10a, 020. I am also running Windows 7, x64. Thanks in advance.
No, because numerous people have gotten this to work on an x10a on my same carrier and yes I've checked the environmental variables.
Figured it out, thanks! I used this one instead: X10Flash 2.1 final & 2.1 Firmware - xda-developers For anybody who gets the "unable to open channel" error, WAIT to plug your x10a/i in until it says "connect in flash mode", and no sooner! The cmd will automiatically fire off and begin to work the magic!
Thanks X10i User, I have finally flashed to Nordic and I'm in the process of updating to 2.1. I got fed up of waiting for the Generic UK update.
