Hi, My S2 was previously a vodafone UK locked version. The phone is now unlocked and hence theoretically should be a international version. It shows as GT-I9100. But I'm still to get the latest release from Samsung, which is 4.0.4. Please let me know whether I still have to get updates from Vodafone or will I get them from Samsung versions.
Oops. Mine is I9100VODLP9. Which I assume is a Vodafone csc number. What could be the work around other than flashing a different rom etc.
Correct... your CSC code, VOD, shows that you are on Vodafone firmware which is currently on android 4.0.3. If you wish to flash an alternative, UK, generic, unbranded, firmware, such as XEU, for Android 4.0.4, see post #1 under the heading, "My firmware is not eligible for ICS yet but I want it now!", here. Waiting, to see if Vodafone release 4.0.4.
