I have created an album and transferred the music over to my samsung galaxy s2, but when I use the music app and check in the album, there are only 5 songs displayed. However when I use explorer, 20 songs are displayed. All of the songs are in the same format and I really can't find out why this would be.

    Any suggestions?

    TIA

Thanks for the video, but that's the way I have done it. And the music IS on the phone. It's just not showing all of them in the music album.

Android reads the meta tags in the file, not the filename, so to make sure it is in the proper album, the tags must match. Give MP3Tag a try and see if your meta tags are correct.

Thanks for the help. I opened all the files in the program you suggested and everything was matching so I just copied the files across again and they appeared. Don't know why, but they're there now :)
