Eek. First search here turned this up

mikedt "Lenovo phones are mainly sold in China, there's relatively few elsewhere, and very few people on this forum have Lenovo phones AFAIK."

hope that changes, since my first Android's a Lenono.

Hello anyhows & ty to admin for sorting my registration issue pdq :D

Not surprised. Chinese (?) brand, I think. Initially, I looked at it as a cheap entry level droid, because my old Lenovo craptop is 5 years old & still pretty useful when my workstation has issues.

Another thing you guys don't see is the ability to use 2 sim cards in one phone (from different carriers) like I do. :p

So far, this A390 has impressed me, but I don't use it for music, gaming, or really care about the camera - and since the shiny is always beckoning, might take a mortgage out on a Samsung, next year.

Lenovos are quite popular around Asia, India definitely. There's a lot of Chinese phones in India. You won't see them in Hong Kong though, mainland brands are not very popular there. AFAIK Lenovo doesn't do phones in the USA or EU, only PCs.

I've got a P700i, is a solid phone and well constructed. Although I just use mine as a media player and small tablet now, since I got the Samsung.

Dual SIM was originally a Chinese idea because of the way carriers operate here, but are popular in Asia where phones are not usually SIM locked. Quite rare in Europe, and probably US as well.
