I put my music on the micro sd card by transferring it from my computer. However, when I check storage on the Note 2 it shows nothing on the card and says that everything is on the device memory. When I remove the card no music is available so I know nothing is on the internal memory. What could be the problem? I never formatted the card but I don't think that could be it.

    Hi

Confusingly the phone memory is in the folder
    storage/sdcard0
    And the removable card is
    storage/extSdCard

Does that help you sort it out?

Thanks for the suggestion. My original question dealt with what I saw when I went to settings>storage. In that case it lists two things --- Device Memory and SD Card. All items are listed under Device memory with nothing listed under SD Card.

However, when I go to My Files it shows sdcard0 and extSdCard, just as you said. There, everything is in the correct place.
