Help Note 3 can recieve calls but won't dial out

Just noticed this problem tonight while trying to call home. It says 'no mobile signal' yet it shows bars and 4g in the notification panel. Even tried to go airplane mode and back and nothing. Also tried rebooting phone to no avail. What gives??? I'm rooted and on 4.3 still, not some exotic build. It will saying 'dialing....' and sit there and eventually hangs up or it says 'no mobile signal'. Help!
