Hi
i bought the phone From EGYPT

Withn the last Week i cant remember exactly when i got a software update around 110MB
after installing it iam facing issue with my mobile screen it keep distorted

everytime i press on the power or while iam using it
the screen split in half sometimes in random shapes and i have to turn the

screen on off many times to overcome this

in the background the phone working normally and the touch shfited

since few days i got another small software update but no help

i forrmetted the phone . removed any app but still get that error

idont know if this a hardware failure or software failure
i confrim that problem happened after getting the 1st update i not seeing it

before but may it just a luck

i attach some screenshoots for the problem

Note : i downloaded from sammobile the Egypt Rom again and reinstalled same problem

If you're downloading ROMs, does that mean that your phone is rooted? If so, that might cause problems with receiving OTA updates from your carrier. If not, then maybe it really is a hardware issue.

Does the display problem only happen when you're showing the desktop launcher, or does it also happen inside an app?

No you don't have to be rooted to download a ROM from SamMobile and use ODIN to flash it, they are all stock firmware. However you are correct that flashing another regions firmware will stop updates for the region your in with your device. It changes the CSC code when you do that telling the servers that there is a mismatch to what the phone should have on it.

Have you tried wiping the cache partition as described in this thread? That can fix problems, especially after an update. But if that doesn't work, I'd probably take the phone back and exchange it for another.
 
Looks like it could of been something messed up in the updating process, worst scenario it's hardware related.

You could download keis and see if you can restore the update.
