Welcome to the Android Forums!

There are lots of notepad apps available for Android in the Android Market. The one I use is called Note Everything and it's able to archive it's files to Google Docs. Not too shabby for a free app...

I use "ColorNote", it's simple, with alot of useful features. Some of the features are: up to 9 different colornotes. Can archive notes that you don't want to delete, but want to remove from your workspace. You can set up reminders for notes that will be placed on a calender. You can password protect certain notes and my favorite, you can make notes, as a widget, on your home screen. (Looks like a sticky note.). Almost forgot, you can share notes by e-mail or text.
