Im looking for a widget that I can have on one of the scenes that i can take notes on or have some sort of list.

I got such bad memories at times, and want to write something down to look at later as a reminder. So I was looking for a widget to do this, something similar to 3Banana app.

While they're more app than widget, you might want to take a look at GooMemo and DoIt. I used GooMemo for awhile and liked it quite a bit, but I also started using DoIt which is more of tasks list manager and I've fallen into the habit of using DoIt for both tasks and notes/memos. They're both good apps, but DoIt gives you more options.

DoIt looks really nice... Don't know if I want to pay 3 bucks for it though. OI Shopping is a good task lits app. I know it says 'shopping' in the title, and gives the impression that its only function is a shopping list, but its actually good for tasks as well.

You might want to look at Astrid. It displays tasks on a widget. You can set reminders, alarms, priority, etc.

GDocs Notepad is pretty slick. It syncs with your Google Docs.

Is there any way to make the widget larger?

@gnarly duck...you cant make the widget larger unfortunately but it will list the first line of 4 or 5 tasks. They just added a google calendar widget that syncs the tasks with Remember The Milk. It must be another one of their products or they have some affiliation. It works great for me so far. I'm starting to get used to the idea of data in the "cloud".

    Take a guess
I use AK Notepad for my notes, and Astrid for tasks. Locale + Astrid is my killer app.

Sorry to bump such a old thread, but are there any apps like AK Notepad and DoIt that have widgets? that shows the list. And not a widget like astrid's where it's so tiny and only shows half a sentence for the top 5 tasks. im talking 3x3 widget or greater.

I find NoteEverything from the Market works for me if you really don't need a Widget.

NoteEverything is good, I just put a short cut on one of my scenes. Why do you need a widget?

Sorry for the RE-BUMP, but with the new 2.1 update goto 'add a widget', then select 'Get more HTC widgets'. You'll see something new for 'NOTES'!
