The LED on the triumph is a bi-color (red/green) LED that has hardware support for on, off and blink. No PWM control of brightness.

so we can only get red, green, and orange right? if so that kinda sucks... i wanted to make my colors cyan and red :D but that wont happen lol

Yes, and no shades either - there is no PWM control available of the brightness. The "fade" effect appears to be a hardware thing (although it may be in the kernel - whatever it is, it does not appear that brightness capability is exposed at the user level.)

cool... so how can i get it to show orange? like with a app or something.... and can you tell me how to write updater scripts and updater binaries? i only know how to write update scripts for phones like the intercept and the moment... which are alot different than the triumph LOL

All of that is in the lights.so library if you're talking about event-driven light changes. If you want to write at it directly you can - it's exposed in /sys - but the lights library is going to change it right back the next time it wants to.

Turning off the lockscreen will help and disabling wifi before you lock it should pretty much cover that issue
